The garage is there!

Yeah, finally the car and the motorbike no longer have to rust outside, but can continue to do so in the garage! And more important: the bikes have left the garden shed and I can finally access the lawn mower again without having to move everything around.

Parts of the garage on the truck
That's how it was delivered. The driver started a 3am in Hoyerswerda. The openings at the sides are later the connection between the two sides of the garage.
A hydraulic arm lifts a part in place
There's a fat hydraulic arm on the truck, that lifts the pieces in place (down to the millimeter). Fascinating. The delivery guys where actually quite impressed with the foundation. We passed on the praise.
Panorama from on top of garage
The gap between the two pieces is sealed with covers. Those are wedged in place, so that you can remove them e.g. for painting the walls.
Front view of the garage
Finally done. Still in white, but we already bought the exterior paint. Just have to wait for the weather to cool a bit.
Panorama of the interior
Interior view. The bikes already moved in and in the meantime, motorbike and car followed.

For you to get an idea, what the delivery looked like, I did a video:
